Mike Ryan

Saturday, November 1, 2025

Doors: 8pm

Mike Ryan: 10:30pm

Singer-songwriter Mike Ryan has achieved impressive accolades in just under 10 years, building a career independently that’s not only earned the devotion of fans, but the respect of other artists and notables in the music industry. Mike Ryan is just that caliber of talent. His gift as a songwriter has led to collaborations with such major label acts as Brad Paisley and Brandy Clark, and he has opened for some of the biggest names in the business, including Miranda Lambert, Hardy and Morgan Wallen, in addition to selling out his own headlining gigs. At times, even selling more tickets than major label acts with top ten singles. It’s a coup he’s managed to pull off thanks to hard work and undeniable talent. Ryan co-wrote Paisley’s Top 20 “Last Time For Everything,” and his songs have garnered over 265 million streams with 10 of them earning over ten million streams, 19 of them earning more than four million streams and 27 of them earning more than one million streams. Now after five years, Ryan has returned with Longcut, a 13-track collection that spotlights his growth as an artist and songwriter, and the broader emotional palette he paints from now as a father with two young sons with more life experience under his belt. These days, those years of hard work are paying off as he has since scored nine No. 1 songs on the Texas music charts, and his previously-released album Blink You’ll Miss It landed at No. 15 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and in the top 40 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart. His music has been embraced nationwide and he packs venues from the West Coast to the Southeast and several places in between. He’s got a new album he’s proud of and a stacked itinerary.

Casey Donahew

Friday, November 14, 2025

Doors: 7pm

Opener: Hunter Hicks 8pm

Casey Donahew: 9:30pm

After over two decades of making music, one thing has never changed for Casey Donahew – it has always been and always will be about the song. The Lone Star native, whose hometown of Fort Worth, TX has designated October 22nd “Casey Donahew Day” and has adopted his song “Stockyards” as the official song, has carved out a sizable niche for himself simply just by doing what he does best and doing it with authenticity. That unwavering trait is what his fans respond to and come back for time and time again. He’s at it again with his latest album, NEVER NOT LOVE YOU, a 17-track project packed chock full of musical tales about cowboys, love, heartbreak, and the eccentricities of life that he fine-tunes into so well and paints oh so vividly in the songs he writes. He has proven himself a consistent hit maker who has dominated on both the charts and the live music scene as well, with 27 singles that have topped the Texas charts, and clearly has his finger firmly on the pulse of what his fans love. This latest album is no exception. Donahew penned nearly 3/4 of NEVER NOT LOVE YOU solo, which is the way he prefers to write, and finds that his process hasn’t changed much throughout the last 12 records and counting. With 27 career chart-toppers in his home state, he clearly has a bead on what a good song is in the eyes of his listeners. The movie and TV industry has actually taken notice of Donahew’s talent plenty of times over the past few years. He’s had several songs in the popular “Yellowstone” TV drama, and one in the Taylor Sheridan drama “Tulsa King” as well, along with a cut in the 2022 B.J. Novak/Ashton Kutcher film “Vengeance.” “There’s some stuff I did on this record that’s a little outside of my normal, and I just wrote a couple of songs that I thought were a different vibe, and maybe that’s just influenced by life or what I’m listening to, but I think you just get better at it. You do anything for 20 years, hopefully you get better at it… you should, or I don’t know what you’re doing with your free time,” says Donahew, laughing.

49 Winchester: Leavin This Holler Tour

Thursday, November 20, 2025

Doors: 7pm

Opener: Alex Lambert 8pm

49 Winchester: 9:30pm

Last October, while standing onstage in front of 20,000 people at London’s 02 Arena, it dawned on 49 Winchester lead singer/guitarist Isaac Gibson that on the same day, exactly 10 years ago, he formed the rapidly rising alt-country band. “There’s been nothing in my life that’s ever lasted a decade,” Gibson says. “We had just gotten out of high school when we played our first show – 10 years later we’re opening for Luke Combs at the O2 Arena.” On the heels of Combs’ European tour, 49 Winchester has been selling out storied venues across America, including a wildly successful Canadian run alongside Corb Lund. And, in celebration of these recent milestones, comes the release of 49 Winchester’s latest album, Leavin’ This Holler. “We were on a slow simmer for a lot of years before things really started to pick up with our last record Fortune Favors the Bold,” Gibson says. “And this new album is going to do it even bigger.” Leavin’ This Holler is 49 Winchester’s fifth studio album, and second collaborative work with Virginia-native producer Stewart Myers. In addition, the project also features the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, singer-songwriter Maggie Antone on backing vocals, fiddler Philip Bowen, and guitarist Cole Chafin. Hailing from Castlewood, Virginia (population: 2.045) in the desolate backwoods of Southern Appalachia – a place where opportunity seldom knocks – 49 Winchester came to fruition when Gibson, his childhood best friend, Chafin, and his hometown crony, guitarist Bus Shelton, decided to step off the front porch (on Winchester Street) and take their music to whatever stage would have ’em. Since its formation, 49 Winchester has fiercely retained this inner resolve to transcend one’s lot in life with a reckless abandon that’s led to widespread acclaim and fandom in the country, Americana and rock realms. Beyond its upbeat country tempos (“Hillbilly Happy”) and sorrowful ballads (“Tulsa”), whirlwind guitar riffs (“Make It Count”) and rumbling vocals (“Traveling Band”), Leavin’ This Holler offers up a more focused sense of self – this new, bountiful level of intent and purpose. Both “Fast Asleep” and “Anchor” incorporate the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, with the stirring melodies showcasing Gibson’s voice erupting into the ether of an unknown tomorrow. “We love the string arrangements from those great country acts of the 1960s, 70s and 80s,” Gibson says. “We wanted to explore every possible sound we could on this record. No stone left unturned sonically – we got it exactly where we wanted it.”

Ray Wylie Hubbard

Ray Wylie Hubbard: 9pm

When F. Scott Fitzgerald issued his classic conclusion that ‘There are no second acts in American lives,’ he failed to envision the career of legendary Texas troubadour Ray Wylie Hubbard. A willing conspirator in the late seventies Cosmic Cowboy revolt that ushered in the mythical Outlaw era, Hubbard was a catalyst in the cultural upheaval that led to the peaceful coexistence of Lone Star music enthusiasts who comprised each end of the social and political spectrum of that troubled time. In the stellar company of iconic colleagues like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Doug Sahm and Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Wylie Hubbard was an architect of the musical legacy that continues to inspire subsequent generations of up-and-coming Texas talent. Yes, Hubbard is a Texas singer-songwriter, complete with the classic trifurcated handle, fundamental chapter of the canon in his song catalog (“Redneck Mother”), and enough wild hairs in his past to qualify him as a legend. But along the way, his attention began to leave matters extraneous to his art and soul by the wayside and focus on the beauty and potential to be found in the blank canvas of, in his case, the yet to be written and recorded song. The result has been one of the most satisfying musical and lyrical journeys to witness over the last two decades. In the years that followed he evolved into a writer of uncommonly honest portraits of life, alternately mixing deep personal sagas with poignant character studies of those traveling on the dark side of the road. If one wanted to describe the sound of Ray Wylie Hubbard, one could call it American music, born from the time honored traditions of folk, country, and roots rock.

Eli Young Band

Eli Young Band: 10:15pm

After dropping the slinky new single “Strange Hours,” 18x RIAA Gold and Platinum-certified country hitmakers Eli Young Band are back for more, launching a new era with the announce of their Strange Hours album and headline tour. Set for release August 1, Strange Hours finds the trailblazing group returning to the bold creative defiance of their independent roots – and to Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas, where their debut album Level was born. Reviving the raw, grassroots energy and emotional sting of their early work, a brand new batch of country-rock anthems feature Eli Young Band’s signature live-band philosophy, and their chart-topping sound. Along the way, frontman Mike Eli continues to wield one of the most distinctive voices in modern country, leading a band of brothers who write the majority of their fan-favorite tracks. Featuring 13 songs – all co-written by Eli Young Band members and produced by Jimmy Robbins and Eric Arjes – Strange Hours includes title track with its grooving tribute to a black-magic romance, plus the songs off their Nothing On the Wild EP. A fearless batch of all new tunes join the previously released “Home In Hometown,” “What Do Lonely People Do,” “I’m Yours Amen” and “Nothing On the Wild.” Looking back over the course of their 25-year career, the band members say they still feel the magnetic pull of sold-out country music crowds. And it still has them keeping Strange Hours. Since their formation as college classmates more than two decades ago, the Associated Press has celebrated Eli Young Band as “a smart, relevant antidote” to overdone clichés in Country music. Featuring Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Mike Thompson, the musical band of brothers has charted 14 singles on Billboard, including four No. 1 hits with the aforementioned “Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” 2x Platinum “Love Ain’t” and Platinum “Drunk Last Night.” Additionally, Eli Young Band has earned multiple GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, ACM, ACA and Teen Choice Award nominations.

Shinyribs

Wednesday, November 26, 2025

Doors: 7pm

Opener: TBA 8pm

Shinyribs: 9pm

Once you’ve seen Shinyribs’ Kevin Russell on-stage and heard his band’s music, it’s impossible to forget. Known for his outrageous outfits and antics, he’s a regular fashion icon, liable to turn up in anything from his lime-green sherbet leisure suit to a flashing LED cloak, which he donned for a soulful performance of “East Texas Rust” on the award-winning PBS show Austin City Limits. Born and raised in Beaumont, East Texas, Russell’s been variously dubbed (mostly by himself), the Baryshnikov of the Big Thicket, the Pavarotti of the Pineywoods, the Shakespeare of Swamp Pop, or the Shiniest Man in Showbidniz. One of the pioneers of Americana as a member of The Gourds, Russell took his musical inspiration from the fertile Ark-La-Tex turf. In the immortal words of the title track to their most recent album, “I Got Your Medicine,” Shinyribs have the cure to whatever ails you, moving that ass until you’re a helpless member of the Kevin Russell-led “all-in” conga line which snakes through the audience at the close of every show. As Austin royalty, Shinyribs are one of the music world’s best-kept secrets, but not for long. The eight piece outfit was recently named Best Austin Band for 2017, while I Got Your Medicine was tapped as Album of the Year at the Chronicle’s prestigious Austin Music Awards. Kevin Russell might not take himself too seriously, but he is dead-on serious about the eclectic blend of music he favors, combining Texas blues, New Orleans R&B funk, horn-driven Memphis soul, country twang, border music, big band swing, roots-rock, Tin Pan Alley and even punk into a raucous mix that includes such out-of-the-blue cover nods as David Bowie’s “Golden Years” (a posthumous tribute with an unlikely “On Broadway” groove) or the Beatles’ “Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey” (interpolated into a live version of “Poor People’s Store,” his populist “jingle” for an imaginary bargain basement outlet). Russell’s Shinyribs have released seven albums since starting out as his “solo” side project, starting with Well After Awhile (2010), followed by Gulf Coast Museum (2013), Okra Candy (2015), award-winning I Got Your Medicine (2017), the holiday project The Kringle Tingle (2018), Fog & Bling (2019), Late Night TV Gold (2021) and Transit Damage (2023).

Aaron Watson: Buy The World A Round Tour

Friday, November 28, 2025

Doors: 7pm

Special Guest: Hayden Baker 8pm

Aaron Watson: 9:30pm

Aaron Watson is a man forever looking to the horizon. Where other artists might rest on their laurels, he consistently presses onward to the next frontier, cutting through lazy industry wisdom in favor of success won on his own terms. He is the first independent male country artist ever to debut an album at No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart, a feat recognized in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He has earned a litany of prestigious awards, hundreds of millions of streams on his music, shared the stage with country music legends Willie Nelson and Alan Jackson, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for multiple charities. This next chapter of his trailblazing career sees him deep in the weeds on two projects: the first, an album of covers dedicated to his daughter; the second, a 2024-slated album of originals that promises to be his most daring and audacious release to date. Watson hails from Amarillo in West Texas and began writing songs whilst still in high school. He began performing in college, eventually forming a band and developing a loyal following. Despite being approached by major labels, Watson chose the road less traveled and released his work independently. This turned out to be the right call when his album “Real Good Time” charted in the top ten nationwide on Country Billboard. An unheard of feat at the time. With the taste of success fresh on his lips, Watson pushed onward and created “Underdog” which became the first Country album released independently to chart at number one. Success built upon success with Watson’s follow up albums. However, 2020 heralded a slow down for the artist by way of the pandemic and an unexpected vocal cord surgery. Watson was keen to get back to his fans, and to make them feel like a part of the family more than ever before. “Me and my thirteen year old daughter Jolee Kate had been talking a lot about music, particularly female singers who write their own stuff. I wanted her to understand the power that comes with owning your own voice.” Out of those conversations came Cover Girl, a collection of covers of mold-breaking female country singers performed by Aaron, with his daughter joining him on vocals for one track. “I had no plans for the rest of the world to hear it, but the more people I told, the more people loved it. So we’re doing it as a full release, I’m so excited!” Aaron Watson is nothing if not audacious, and his promise to fans that his next album of originals will be the best Country album of 2024 stands firm. By his own admission, the songs are, by-and-large, completed, yet Watson continues to push himself to make them better. Aaron Watson is a man constantly reaffirming his dedication to the craft of songwriting, and it is this commitment to quality and treating his fans with respect that has proved him, time and again, to be the living North Star for country music’s free and indomitable spirit.
